Portion Of Event Proceeds Benefit AsianWeek Foundation’s Hepatitis B Awareness Efforts
The Golden State Warriors and Cache Creek Casino Resort are hosting Asian Heritage Night on Tuesday, January 28 against the Washington Wizards at Oracle Arena (7:30 p.m.), the team announced today. A portion of event night ticket sales will benefit the AsianWeek Foundation in their efforts to increase awareness in the Bay Area for Hepatitis B.
Fans who purchase an Asian Heritage Night event ticket will also receive a limited-edition Asian Heritage Night t-shirt. Fans will also enjoy an on-court performance by the GenRyu Arts music and dance group during halftime as well as Asian-themed cuisine available at Oracle Arena concourse stands. The AsianWeek Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a focus area on containing hepatitis B, one of the most common untreated diseases in the world that currently affects 1 in 10 members of the Asian/Pacific Islander community.
